I'm a senior product designer with a frontend development background, which means I don't stop at the Figma file. I design experiences and I understand how they get built, so what ships is what we designed.
Over the years I've worked across a wide range of products for clients and in-house teams, including:
- A national-scale digital therapy platform supporting children with autism and their families: an admin portal, parent and therapist tools, and iPhone and iPad apps. I designed over 60 therapeutic iPad games from the ground up, plus a parent app for managing appointments, running therapy sessions at home, and getting guidance from an AI assistant.
- XR/VR therapy experiences for older autistic children, including script writing, scene development, 3D character design, and directing voice acting
- Interactive experiences for an emerging glasses-free 3D display technology using eye tracking and reflective screens
- Fully bilingual, right-to-left (RTL) product design and localization
- Interactive 3D product configurators for premium consumer brands, from UX strategy through frontend build
- Complex B2B platforms and admin tools with layered permissions and intricate workflows
- Design systems and component libraries that keep teams consistent and speed up delivery
Much of my work is under NDA, but the common thread is the same: taking complex products and making them clear, usable, and buildable, especially for audiences who need design to work harder for them.
As a design lead, I also mentor and grow designers, and I care about building teams where good design work can happen consistently.
I work best where design meets engineering. Based in Helsinki.
I occasionally publish on Medium to capture my evolving thoughts on design and technology. It’s my outlet for expressing insights and ideas whenever inspiration strikes, from deep dives into the product design process to reflections on emerging innovations.
Through writing, I refine my perspective and spark meaningful conversations about the work I do.
